Locker Room Challenge

Locker room challenge was a bit of a cruel game played in the lockers at collage were a person was targeted to be stuffed into a locker. It was usually the same person that got stuffed, and it was usually the same person that initiated it.
About 10 of us would cheer and jostle the target into a locker, it would usually last about a minute, and it was rarely successful. I don’t think the target was emotionally scared by it, he was very resilient and we are still friends after 20 years. He usually laughed more than we did.
At the same place, a diffent game was played. It was only executed successfully once, but it was a complete crackup. This time the target was a good friend of the attacker. The attacker got a small nail, and punched a hole just below the lip line of a half full soda can of his target while he was out of the room.
When the target came back, he took a sip and a bit dribbled out of the hole on to his chin and shirt. So he wiped his chin and took another sip, the same thing happened. By this time he caught on and the whole room was laughing. The target was fuming and voweled to get revenge. But revenge was never forth coming, he tried a few times, unsuccessfully, then forgot about it.
coffee

Am I addicted? I don’t think so, but I do have one cup every morning. It’s a big cup, though, it’s not a coffee cup, but a soup cup. Bought from the local supermarket.
I drink instant coffee at home, I have my favourite brand and all other instant coffee tastes weird to me. So I stick with what I know, not daring to try out other, perhaps newer offerings.
I spoon about 3 heaped tea spoons on coffee and twice that of sugar, lots of milk, about a third way up the cup and then I poor in boiling water.
Yes, I put the milk in before the water, it should make a difference, but it does. It tastes better when done that way. Sometimes I take the time to stir in the coffee power into the milk, but most of the time I just poor the milk on top of the sugar and coffee powder and then just poor the water on top.
You usually get a few floating coffee bits, it doesn’t all disolve. But I kind of like that. Like crunchy bits in a candy bar.
Rain rain go away…

…come back another day.
The roof is leaking but the rain doesn’t stop. The carpet is wet. It’s red carpet, with a flom design double backed and laid on dual insulation. It’s going to take weeks to dry out. I’ve got buckets and pots trying to catch the leaks, but they don’t stop water slashing back out onto the carpet.
Luckily the bed isn’t wet, so I managed to get some sleep, but all the buckets overflowed while I’d been out like a light. My doona is duck down and toasty warm, it has a zebra patterned cover on it. I worried that the bed might float away in a pool of water, but that didn’t happen.
Oh well, guess I got to call the roofer when it stops raining. No doubt he will be extra busy for the next few weeks. I’m not sure my insurance will cover any damage, either. Will have to check tomorrow when the office opens.
At least the garden is getting some rain. The worms and snails are all out trying not to drown. I used to cut worms in half when I was a kid thinking they would turn into two worms. But my dad set me straight, they don’t do that, it just kills them.
Falling Over

So I was on my way to collage today, I had to change train lines so I was waiting on the platform for a train. I turned and stepped back to get a better look at the sign that says when the next train is coming and I fell on to the tracks.
Yeap, straight down, luckily I landed on my feet and no train was coming. There were a bunch of girls waiting on the platform on their way to school. They saw me fall and started laughing at me.
I dumped my bag on the platform and scrambled up. A bit embarrassed and shaken, but not hurt.
